This blog is dedicated to the study of poetic devices of song that fall under the theme of love or heartbreak. I chose modern rock(1990-present) because I didn't want just the brand new music, even though I do love it. I also have a strong liking for Nirvana and old Foo Fighters, and all those 90's bands that people have seemed to forget about. I think there's some difference in the style of writing, which will mean more of a variety in my research.
